Very good prices on the sushi. The lunch menu specially!

This restaurant is great and roomy, the food was yummy and the prices were very inexpensive. quick, efficient service and very attentive staff members. I highly recommend this place.

The sushi so smelled it seems like they kept the fish for a long time. Last time the sushi taste very good but i came for the second time and really disappointed. They shouldn’t sell the old fish like that.

Sakura is one of my favorite all-you-can eat Japanese restaurants. We have been here many times and this is our first time to take pics and leave a review. My favorite dishes are grilled shrimps, beef ribs , mussel miso soup and sashimi. Service is good and good. Washrooms are always clean. Definitely recommend you to come over for a blast.

I get to eat here a lot since I work close by. I like how their customer service is always awesome and they keep the place clean constantly. Pricing is convenient and they serve generous portions.

Always accurate and reasonably quick for my take out

I've been here a couple times within the past 2 years and it seems like the quality of the restaurant is degrading. The most recent time was Saturday September 21st. We got seated well as it wasn't busy. For the price of 24.95 for dinner, it is not worth it. All the rolls had a lot of rice so I recommend getting as much sashimi as you can. I also love having short ribs and so I ordered them. The worse part is, is that it looked like it had already been eaten. I had one of the 4 pieces, and within minutes, the other waiter came to collect it cause she thought it was leftovers but realized on her own it wasn't right when she was about to grab it.To top it off, for even just 2 people, they make you pay gratitude of 15%. Tips should be earned, not deserved. Will not come back again.

The quality of the rolls I had was so abysmal I can't honestly ever recommend this place anymore. I used to be a regular here for several years, but the quality has deteriorated significantly in the last year. I used to recommend it all the time for decent quality cheap sushi; now it's just overpriced rice

This is our go-to place for all you can eat sushi. For the price, the food is pretty decent. It also helps that we’ve been here so many times that we know which items are hit and which ones are missed. For sushi, we get the spicy salmon, spicy crab and spicy scallop. We usually avoid the other single pieces and get the maki rolls. Our favourite maki rolls are: pacific roll, any of the dragon rolls and the arctic roll.For hot foods, the chicken or beef satay skewers are excellent, along with crab meat tempura and deep fried scallops. Their deep fried squid tentacles have been misses in the past, but during our most recent visit, they were actually very good (it wasn’t over-battered).Overall, this is a great place for when you are craving sushi or all you can eat sushi but are not looking for something too fancy.

AVOID. Shrimp was uncleaned with digestive material (poop) still inside of it. (waitress assured us it was normal - it's not). Dumpling tasted like re-used, old oil. They have a clean place, but the folks behind the counter are lacking. Everything was stale.

I've been here twice for AYCE. For the price the quality is about what you'd expect. There are lots of menu options, both sushi and non sushi, to choose from. I'm no sushi expert but I would say that it's not the top quality but it'll fill you up without making you ill! The servers are friendly and your orders are brought out fairly quick. the location is also convenient in the Annex neighbourhood. Both times I've been there it also wasn't super busy so you don't have to worry about long waits.

Sushi was stale and everything had an odd sweet taste to it. The rice was hard and difficult to chew. I pulled a few pieces of salmon off of a roll because I didn't enjoy the rice and the salmon was stiff. This place definitely served us rolls from the day before. Avoid at all cost.

Always a good time at Sakura, have great deep fried sushi

We went to Sakura to a birthday celebration. It was actually my suggestion to a friend as far as this is my favorite Japanese AYCE restaurant in Toronto. I don't regret to have suggested because everyone loved it. The food was good as regular, the service was smooth and fast and the price is worth it. Still my favorite one and probably Sakura earned new customers.

From the moment you step in this place the waiters give you an enjoyable feeling. Very friendly team, it is a good restaurant to go out with your friends or with your date. yummy meals, specialist chef, comfortable price and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Sashimi is always fresh. Friendly service and drink refills are always a bonus.

I’d say this is a decent place for sushi. Definitely for those who prefer the ambiance over food quality and cleanliness. There are tons of better sushi restaurants, but this is a more affordable all-you-can-eat with great customer service. The waiters are extremely hospitable. Expect a few mistakes with your order as their system doesn’t seem to be the most effective way to place and receive orders. There were bugs on the wall in the washroom downstairs, so just beware.

They serve large portions and for reasonable prices. welcoming owner. 5 stars from me.

Worst sushi I have ever had. Fish was not fresh and the presentation was a total shame. We didn't end up eating it because we were worried that we might get sick. When I told the waitress how bad the food was, she acknowledged the food was poorly made. She recommended a different sushi restaurant for us to visit when we were in town again next time.

The price point is a little high, especially with the weekend prices for All You Can Eat, but the quality for your dollar is fairly good. I'm not a fan of sushi but the other dishes are enough go the distance, and my friends who do enjoy sushi were quite happy with theirs. There's a large enough selection to try and find what you like.I do however recommend not getting the ramen, as it's a fairly thin and flavourless vegetable stock.

Best all u can eat for selection, quality and price

We went for lunch all you can eat. The price and service were fair, but the quality of food was quite disappointing. The sushi rice was soggy. The stir fry and grill items were not properly seasoned or cooked. The spicy mayo tasted off. Maybe this could justified by the price, but overall it wasn't a good experience.

We (5 of us) went for AYCE lunch on a friday, it wasn’t too busy and our food came in a good amount of time. It’s $16 for lunch but 10% off if you pay cash. We ordered a few dishes at once and as I haven’t been to many sushi places I wished the waiters had told us what each dish was when they brought it to the table (we had to figure it out ourselves). Overall the food tasted nice and I would come back.

Sauce tasted kinda weird, much like a Chinese knock off version. Staff aren't friendly at all and provided us bad service in bad attitude when the place is not even at its busy hour. Tips amount are include in the receipt set to be 15% but honestly your service quality doesnt worth 15%.

This place is worth giving a shot. They have big portions for fair prices. Always well kept and with great character. Will come back again.

Food is really good for the price. The service is really fast, but not the best customer service. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere.

I adore this place! They prepare first-rate food, their menu is nice, The cook in that restaurant is well trained, I love a lot eating all their food. The food is always of high class, the attitude towards the guests is nice. I go often to this restaurant and I was never discontended. I recommend it to all my friends.

Good food, not everything is up to scuff but it is all you can eat and you can't go wrong with that. Service was also very good.Reason for 4 is that the sweet and sour chicken was memorably not as good as I thought it would be. The rest was great.

Only thing decent about this place is price... othe than that sushi came out like it was onigiri (japanese rice ball ish looking sushi...) doesnt know how to cut fish... triangle tako sushi... lol rice tasted like few day old not well cooked weird rice cant even taste any vinigery taste.. just really uncooked old congee like moist rice... sushi and sashimi I would not recommend... just visit anyother place in the block... never ever seen any sushi ayce place serve like this... their kitchen food was decent enough though... terrible choice but i guess I should have known with such pricing...anyways... avoid if you want actual sushi/maki to be at least edible....

I adore this restaurant! They have fantastic meals, their menu is rich, The chief cook in that restaurant is an expert, I like a lot tasting all their food. The food is consistently tasty, the attitude towards the visitors is very good too. I go often to this place and I was never disappointed. Highly recommended.

Do not recommend at allWe went during lunch time this Saturday 1. Spring rolls where all mushy inside and tasted bad2. Salmon was disgusting to the point that a few of us spit it out3. The rice was extremely sticky had never had sushi like that, but at least it did not taste bad 4. Most of the other fish we had was also bad5. The vegetable rolls where good6. Had to ask for wasabi for the entire table 3 times. Does time they brought one plate with a tiny bit, second another little bit and third time they finally brought tiny portions for all of us7. Service was 8/10 8. Deep fried chicken was really dry, my 3Year old did not eat more then 2 bytes and did not want anything else and she eats anything We won’t come back here again, word to the wise stay away from this place.

I often take my friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The meals are flavorable and the stuff is attentive and cooperative. Every time we go to this place we enjoy a lovely evening. I recommend this place with pleasure.

The all you can eat is pretty reasonable with the price, its usually $14.99 but though we went during the holiday weekday it was bumped up by an extra dollar making it $15.99 for lunch. The staff were friendly and the service was quite good! I would recommend this place for a quick bite to eat and if you're within a budget (or not too) :)

Their all you can eat buffet is so good and for a reasonable price too! I love this place a lot. I've come here multiple times and I really like it. Their BBQ beef ribs are sooooo good, in my opinion.

I celebrated my graduation earlier this evening in this delicious restaurant. happy to tell that it was a tremendous evening and the restaurant was indeed the reason for this happy meeting. The stuff participated in a lovely manner, the cooking was very good and my buddies were extremely overjoyed. We shall definitely return for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

Amazing service, our waitress was great and super attentive! The prices are the best I have seen so far. Though the the quality isn’t the same as a pricey place it’s still really good and definitely worth going to!

Sakura is a wonderful little all-you-can-eat place. They have a variety of nicely prepared meats and, of course, a wide array of sushi. Their dessert menu is quite small though, mostly just ice cream but also featuring fried milk among many other dishes.I deeply enjoy their variety of chicken options, personally.Their spicy foods are quite tame from what I've tried. They have a variety of tempura dishes and lots of fried items. They also have some oddball options such as pizza slices.Some dishes come a bit too drenched in sauces (but only sometimes) so you should be sure to just check your food isn't sitting in a puddle - if you leave it in too long it can get quite soggy and unappetizing.The food came very quickly and was warm when I received it.The all-you-can-eat dinner is about $28 after tax on weekdays and you can spend an hour and a half here.In terms of seating it looks suitable for small groups and larger parties.The service is nice.

The rolls either have too much rice or are chopped full of tempora bits which ruins the flavor overall. Spicy sauce was scarce, bits were falling out of the roll. The nigiri had the same fate of too much rice. Shishimi was flavorless. I gave it a 2 because none of the fish gave me pause for concern for my health (both me and the person I ate with have lots of experience with seafood). Anything deep fried was good.Service was excellent. If they have some kind of cheaper lunch menu it would be better value for what you get. However the food makes this place nothing special or stand out. Service is excellent.

I would leave negative stars if I could. Ordered a party tray and when we opened it all of the sushi was glued together into one big mushy lump. The fish was flavorless and sad. The rice is incredibly hard to choke down as it is gluey and soggy. They sent approximately a cup of soy sauce and honestly it would need that much to give it any flavor. The whole experience was incredibly disappointing and I wont be able to eat sushi for a while until my taste buds forget the taste. On the plus side I now have almost a whole tray of sushi that nobody wants to eat so if anybody wants free food you are welcome to it.
